$166M DoE Grant Agreement Signed for USA HPMSM Refinery
Element 25 Limited is excited to share that our High-Purity Manganese (HPMSM) Project in Louisiana has been awarded a significant US$166 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy, in addition to funding commitments from partners GM and Stellantis. This grant will support the construction of our battery-grade high-purity manganese sulphate monohydrate facility, contributing to the domestic production of critical battery materials in the USA. The grant signifies a major milestone in our project's development, and along with existing commitments, will drive the project towards financial close and construction commencement. With community support and incentives from the State of Louisiana, the project is expected to create 400 construction jobs and 144 full-time roles. Our innovative processing flowsheet, coupled with a commitment to ethical sourcing and sustainability, positions us as a leading supplier of HPMSM for US EV supply chains. The grant funding structure outlines progressive milestones for project execution, ensuring efficient utilization of funds. We invite investors to learn more about our project, financing strategy, and community benefits.
