E25 & Nissan Chemical to evaluate HPMSM production in Japan

Element 25 Limited (E25) has entered into a non-binding MOU with Nissan Chemical Corporation (NC) and NC Tokyo Bay Corporation (NCTB) to conduct a Feasibility Study into a battery-grade High Purity Manganese Sulphate Monohydrate (HPMSM) facility in Chiba, Japan. This collaboration brings key synergies like utilizing NCTB's existing infrastructure and resources for the project. The plan includes co-locating the facility at the NCTB site, utilizing their sulphuric acid plant, logistics solutions, and ancillary services.<br/><br/>The MOU outlines steps for developing the facility, with a target final investment decision (FID) date of September 2026. This collaboration aligns with Japan's focus on establishing battery-related industries, especially in the automotive sector for Electric Vehicles (EVs).
